Welcome to Château de Roux
- Located near the "Massif des Maures", fully exposed under the sun of Provence, the Château de Roux, whose origins date back to the XV century, covers an area of 32 hectares.
A particular attention is given to each parcel of vineyard so the grapes can get the best care throughout the year.
A part of the vineyard is Palisse, another cut in cups.
The average age of vines is distributed :
- 15% are between 5 and 10 years
- 50% are between 17 and 29 years
- 33% are between 31 and 36 years
- 2% are over 40 years
Periodically, the vineyard is renewed.
The majority of the grapes of Chateau Roux is manual, all scratched and slightly afterwards, according to tradition, in order to receive press grapes of impeccable quality.
